Timm Ulrichs (born 1940) is one of the most multi-facetted German artists. After having declared himself “The First Living Work of Art“ in 1961, the “Total Artist” exerted great influence on the German art scene, both in his creations as well as in his teachings as a professor at the Kunstakademie Münster between 1972 and 2005. In the first place he became known through his art events, conceptual creations and works in public spaces.
